So I have tested both renting Steem power and lending my Steem power.
Renting is high risk that also requires loads of posting, so I guess I am never doing that again, well at least not for a long period of time, getting power for an hour could be a cool option...
Lending the power you have away generates passive income, but it's really low unless you have tons of Steem power and then it involves investment risk again...
I lended too much away and ran into Steemit blockchain bandwidth issues, couldn't post more than 2 times a day...
Best thing I have found so far is giving 1 Steem power away and getting some up-votes in return, sadly it only lasts a week or so, but you can get your power back and lend again...
What I haven't tested yet is selling my vote to a bot service, passive income, but requires having more Steem power than I do right now...
I would really love to hear your opinion on that last point, is it worth it? Also if you have invested into Steem, why did you do it? And how is it working out for you?
