Social media has become an integral part of the life of new generation in today's era .It it is unimaginable to live without social media. Not only for newbies, but nowadays the use of social media is playing an increasingly important role in the lives of everyone from children to adults. In fact, social media has many advantages and benefits although it definitely has its harmful effects or disadvantages.
As a result, people face various problems such as depression, lack of concentration, depression and thoughtlessness, sleep disturbances and many other problems.
One good side to me
Chatting help us to be always connected with each other. Before,it was very difficult. I am a student of electrical engineering. We all the students of electrical engineering are connected with each other through social media. We have a WhatsApp group. Whenever we find something difficult to understand we share it on whatsapp and whose have good understanding about the topic help us to understand it. That's how our problems become solved. But if we have not access to this in must suffer for long for a topic.
One negative side
The bad thing it has done is destruction. It always make me distracted. I know it has many benefits but sometimes. It's hard to get the benefits properly avoiding the destruction.Further it is addictive. Everytimes it makes me feel that someone has messaged me. But it's not.Sometimes it makes a feel anxiety. Thus it harms my study. I'm trying to make control over it. Its quite difficult actually .
Conclusion
The present age is the age of information technology. Social media is very important in this age of technology. We engage with social media indirectly every day from the time we wake up to the time we go to sleep again. I can easily communicate with people from different parts of the world through Facebook, Messenger, Telegram etc. These media have taken the world by storm. Again, unnecessary and careless use of social media is life-threatening. Wastes precious time of life.However, proper use of social media can create tech-savvy manpower, which can later be transformed into human resources. So let's be aware of using social media. Social media should not use us, rather we use social media to become efficient manpower. Let's play a role in the welfare of the country and nation.
