Many of us take rejection as very negative. Though it sounds really so cruel but not always. Sometimes rejection is better than selection.
One can be rejected in many situation. It may be work life, maybe relationship or maybe in sports anything .Almost everyone has such a story of being rejected.
My Story of Getting Rejected
After getting admitted in University, I thought I should do something so that I could bear my expenses in my own .So I wanted to join a coaching centre. I went to a renowned coaching centre in my area and asked them the procedure of joining the institute. They said I have to give a presentation and demo class and if I get selected then I can take class in the coaching centre . So I started taking preparation. I took preparation for almost 2 weeks . Then the day came I had to give the demo. I got well dressed went to the coaching centre early. There were many participants in the room. Then after seven or eight participants my name called out. My presented demo class on the topic Magnetism before the whole class. I gave my best from my side. The judges appreciated me. They said I had a good chance of being selected.
I almost assumed that I will get selected. After three or four days the result came. Unfortunately I didn't find my name. I was very depressed for a while but I adjusted myself. I thought maybe there was someone better than me or maybe the way they are doing, I'm not the guy. If I try for something else, I can definitely do something good. Then I started looking for private tuitions and within a few days I got about three or four tuitions.
So a very good source of income was created for me. On the other hand, I came to know that those who have been selected in the coaching center have to train for two months and no extra payment has been kept for the training. Since I didn't have more than three months, even if I got selected, I couldn't actually join the coaching centre. It's been good for me in that respect. So nothing is final. One can never evaluate anyone with a specific task.
So don't worry too much about rejection. We have to move forward. If you get rejection in one, you have to try another. There's nothing wrong with being rejected, there's something wrong with stopping there.
So
