Isneg or Isnag, are the people ofKalinga Apayao, Philippines. They are one of the 6 tribes comprising the Igorot Ethnic group. They are distinct from other tribes through the type of houses they built. Their houses are built in four strong pillars that can resist typhoons, and earthquakes since the northern part of Philippines is frequently visited by storms.They do all means to decorate their houses. They meticulous towards cleanliness and house interior design.
Isnags are bilingual. They speak Isneg ( their native language) and Ilokano ( language of anther tribe also named Ilokano). Their clothes are so vibrant. Like the other Igorot tribes, they have adopted to modernization but they still preserve their culture.
As today they celebrate a tribal feast called Say-am. Its feast of eating and drinking. Most Isnags are animists. Isnags mostly lives in the nearby highland rivers as compared to other Igorot tribes
