Blogging Challenge - Part 03 - Day 03
Is there anyone in your life you would take a bullet for?
Giving my life in exchange for someone else's is something that many would think a thousand times before doing. However, if I have to live a situation like this I would not hesitate to do it for the people who deserve to receive that sacrifice from me. Perhaps some would put the mother in first place, but that is not my case, and not precisely because I do not love her, but quite the opposite.
My mom is a wonderful person, but something that characterizes her is her love for her children and the religious belief she holds. For her, a mother is the one who gives her life and would never allow that a child from her life in exchange for hers. This is how she has educated me; she has always told me that by divine law children should bury their parents and not the other way round. At present I am not only a son, but also a father, and this leads me to be faithful to principles and education that my beloved mother has inculcated in me.
For these reasons, if I have to take a bullet for someone I assure you it will be for my two children. To them I owe myself, and God does not allow a similar situation to come into my life, but if it did, I would not hesitate to be their shield. Now, why take a bullet for them? Beyond the fact that I am the father of both of them, they have a future ahead of them and it is my duty to give them the opportunity to live it.

¿Hay alguien en tu vida por quien recibirías una bala?
Dar mi vida a cambio de la de algún otro, es algo que muchos lo pensarían mil veces antes de hacerlo. Sin embargo, si me toca vivir una situación así no dudaría en hacerlo por las personas que merecen recibir de mi parte ese sacrificio. Quizás algunos pondría a la mamá en primer lugar, pero no es mi caso, y no precisamente porque no la ame sino todo lo contrario.
Mi mamá es una persona maravillosa, pero algo que la caracteriza es su amor hacia sus hijos y la creencia religiosa que posee. Para ella, una madre es la que da la vida y jamás permitiría que un hijo de su vida a cambio de la suya. Así me ha educado, siempre me ha dicho que por ley divina los hijos deben enterrar a sus padres y no al revés. En la actualidad no solo soy hijo, también soy padre y eso me lleva a ser fiel a los principios y educación que mi adorada madre me ha inculcado.
Por estas razones, si me toca recibir una bala por alguien les aseguro que será por mis dos hijos. A ellos me debo, y Dios no permita que una situación similar llegue a mi vida, pero de presentarse no dudaría en ser su escudo. Ahora bien, ¿Por qué recibir una bala por ellos? Más allá de que sea el papá de ambos, tienen un futuro por delante que los espera y es mi deber darle la oportunidad de vivirlo.
Abdiel is my youngest son, recently turned one year old. He is the light of my life, the engine that drives me to give my best every day, he has a laugh that spreads to everyone around him, very outgoing. He has already learned to run, walking is boring for him, jumping on the furniture and the bed is his favorite hobby, talking is fun for him and if you don't understand what he says he gets upset and starts screaming. I guess he thinks that way they will understand him.
His young age is more than enough reason to decide to take a bullet.
Abdiel es mi hijo menor, recientemente ha cumplido un añito. Es la luz de mi vida, el motor que me impulsa a dar lo mejor de mi cada día, posee una risa que contagia a todos a su alrededor, muy extrovertido. Ya aprendió a correr, caminar para él es aburrido, brincar sobre los muebles y la cama es su hobbie favorito, hablar le resulta divertido y si no entiendes lo que dice se molesta y comienza a gritar. Imagino que piensa que de esa manera lo entenderán.
Su corta edad es motivo más que suficiente para decidir que una bala sea recibida por mi.
Scarlet is my oldest daughter, she is 17 years old, she is very pretty both physically and inside. She is my greatest pride, owner of an enviable human quality, dedicated to her studies, her dance and her faith. She has recently graduated from high school and is about to begin her university career in "Tax and Customs Administration". I must emphasize that her academic performance is commendable, first in the school and top 3 in the state. Something to brag about as a parent -laughs-.
With these merits I can only hope for a great future for her, and that is enough for me to put her life before mine.
Scarlet es mi hija mayor, tiene 17 años de edad, es muy linda tanto físicamente como en su interior. Es mi mayor orgullo, dueña de una calidad humana envidiable, dedicada a sus estudios, a su danza y a su fe. Recientemente se ha graduado de Bachiller y está por comenzar la carrera universitaria “Administración Tributaria y Aduanera”, debo destacar que su rendimiento académico es loable, primer índice en el colegio y top 3 a nivel del estado. Algo que presumir como padre -risas-.
Con estos méritos solo puedo esperar para ella un gran futuro, y esa razón me basta para anteponer su vida por encima de la mía.
