Whenever any special occasion comes, I always try to make handmade cards or crafts items as gifts for my close people. I made this habit from my mother, she also used to make this kind of cards where you can ejoyjoy the personal touch, and emotions of the maker.

Yesterday was father's day in my country and I tried to reminisce about the cards which I gave to my father on every father's day. I found every one of them in his diaries. It will make you nostalgic when you find cards that are 10 to 12 years old!!

For this year, I tried to make something different. Last year, I bought a panjabi for baba and it takes me almost one year just to think about what I should paint. I'm also a procrastinator, I have a pretty bad record of leaving my half-done artworks for ages. So this time I took the courage and made this piece. I was thinking of making it more colorful but the simplicity is giving it an elegant vibe (at least to me!). Here is some step-by-step processes of this artwork. Enjoy!
