Don't believe the nay-sayers and doomsday propagandists. You CAN generate your own electricity (and power automobiles) when the shit hits the fan. With a little tinkering and elbow grease anyone can be energy independent. Charge batteries, run generators, drive automobiles and operate machinery. You never have to live in the dark ages. If I can do it on a budget, anyone can do it.
