Hello Everyone,
Few Days back, I have shared one of the amigurumi I have done. A snail. I mentioned that it reminded me of “Turbo”.
Actually, I wanted to try few different types of patterns for snails. A little snail army of mine. They are not like a real snail army. They are cute and just stays where I will keep.
I think you guys know what happens if a real snail army comes into your garden. There will be no plants left for us.
I have tried 5 different patterns so far. And I have few more to try later. The Specialty is, I created all the patterns by my own. That’s enjoyable.
Let me tell you a secret 🙊. Even if there are 5 patterns, all of them are snails. So… isn’t something there for us to consider…. Since snail is a snail…. Basics of all these patterns can be same. That’s how it works.
I have used some parts as the same patterns for everyone and for some parts different patterns. You can find those patterns from here (There is a promotion to discount when buying them together).
Let me tell you about my patterns one by one.
1. Turbo, The Snail
This one is my favorite. It has a simple design. I have crocheted the body longer by changing the colors and then the body has rolled to make it into a spiral. This snail reminds the turbo because of this color combination and the look.
2. Pink Shell Snail
I have used a pink shell for a white body. The shell kind of looks like a cone. Since it is pink it cannot be a pinecone. Anyway it is some kind of cone.
3. Ice Cream Snail
This guy is stealing some ice cream! Two ice cream scoops have fallen down and he is taking it home 🙊. I guess it is blueberry and vanilla. I didn’t have the time to crochet an ice cream cone. Maybe I will later.
4. Spiral Shell Snails
The shell of these guys has a nice spiral. One guy has a sharp spiral and other one is smooth. I have used two different types to create two types of shells. They change because of the way we have to crochet and the patterns of the stitches.
This cute army is staying with me for a while. When our nephew and niece came… I am sure snails will leave me to go with them 🤭.
