Football is one of the most popular sport in the world, football is also known as soccer in some countries. It consists of two teams of 11 players each (including the Goal keeper) played with a ball with the aim of scoring more goals than the opposing team.
It also have a time duration in which it can be played , 90 minutes(45mins for first half and 45 mins for the second half)
Players can use any part of the body expect hands and arms , failure to do so will be marked as foul play by the referee.
Goalkeeper have the privilege to keep a ball with his hands ,but he must not hold the ball for more than six seconds in the penalty area.
There is something called the penalty shootout ,that is after using 90 minutes to play and the winner can't be decided there will be a penalty shootout to judge.
We have different player positions like the Goalkeeper, forwards, midfielders and the defenders.
And there are different formations of playing ;
3-5-2, 4-3-3, 4-4-2, 4-2-3-1
The referee addreses misconducts or foul on the pitch , the players must not hold , pushing an opponent team .
The referee uses yellow card as a sign of warming and red card signify the ejection of a player from the game .
