I took yesterday off, mostly. From the physical side of work, at least. Came up with a few good ideas for when the current projects end. I'm going to put some weight behind community involvement in my building in the near future, when I have some spare weight to put behind it. Gardening projects, and hopefully art projects. But that's not what today's post is about. That's just what I have to say for not having any new work to show you today.
Today I'm showing off my sweethearts for Fathers' Day. We had no idea we were going to have someone small and helpless to care for until recently, but nobody came for her in the end, and now she's ours.
Here's my partner, Mikey, and our little adult baby Bilbocat Baggins.
She's always beating him up, but he takes it well! Any time he walks between rooms, it's a race and chase game, and he ends up dancing his way around because she's always nipping at his heels. I find it hilarious. She just cuddles with me, no monkey business.
We don't have the time or money for human kids right now, so she's our kid. Our kid who sleeps most of the day, and doesn't break nearly as much stuff now that she's spayed. We love this kid.
