And that was too frigging soon in my opinion. My gosh that hurt!! 🥺
Yesterday, afternoon, When I got home from picking/dropping family off to/from work. I started preparing for supper.
I noticed Micah's plate from lunch he hadn't finished and was going to throw the scraps to the chickens. As soon as I stepped back into the house and was turning to close the sliding glass door...I saw an incoming red wasp flying straight to me. It popped my right between my eyes upon my forehead!
Instantly I was in pain!
My temples started throbbing immediately, down into my sinuses and couldn't hardly open my eyes from the pain.
I applied some sting stuff to help alleviate the stinging and drank some Benadryl straight from the bottle. Then got a cold rag and told my boys I was done and was headed to bed. They cooked.
It took an hour before the intensity of it settled down. 😞
Both boys, at separate times called me to check on me later as they were going to bed.. Also to make sure I was awake so I could go pick up Doug from work. I thanked them and passed back out accidentally. Benadryl really did a number on me...I woke up at the time I was to be picking Doug up. I called him and apologized and my drugged ass drove up there as fast as I could to pick him up. (30 minute drive thru deer infested woods 😯)
Anyways, we made it back safely and he understood why I was late.
This morning I feel lots better. My oldest said I looked like Sid from ice age 😳😤🤭 since I'm still puffy. You really can't tell in the pic but I have clear fluid bags under both eyes and in the corners of my eyes.
Anyways, the worst is behind me. The wasp nest is gone(that one anyways). Hopefully, I can go longer than 23 years if there's a next time.

The reason I know how long its been, my youngest was 9mo old. We were camping and thankfully I didn't lay him on it. It was dark in the tent and I was making him a place to sleep when I put my hand down(beside my baby) and was stung. It hurt so bad all the way up to my ear! I have that memory burnt into my memories. I'll never forget that.. And probably not this one either!
