What a difference a good track makes. They said the race in Australia two weeks ago was poor due to the new cars aerodynamics, but the same cars provided lots of entertainment and passing on the 3.3 mile Circuit in Sakhir.
Vettel led from start to finish and showed just how good he is by making tyres that were designed for around 30 laps last 39 laps even under pressure.
Ricciardo was all set for a fantastic race but his car electrics decided against it.
Verstappen was a little aggressive with the wrong guy and tried to push Hamilton off the track but ended up damaging his own car and retiring soon after.
Kimi was all set for at least 3rd place when 3 of his team let him and another team member down by failing to coordinate a pit stop and allowing one of their own to get a broken leg by being ran over.
Gisly was driver of the day after getting his Toro Rosso with an Honda engine to finish 4th.
McLaren showed they have a good car and driver set-up coming in 6th and 7th with Alonso having a decent race.
Haas nearly ended up like Australia with no cars finishing because Grosjean decided to be an ass and do his usual trick of taking his team mate out. Magnussen came in 5th in the end and Grosjean 13th. They certainly practiced pit stops in this race doing more than the other teams I believe.
Ericsson managed to get points for the first time in his 50 races coming in 10th.
Williams, well from todays performance they need to have a good look at either the cars or drivers. Last and next to last is not where a team of this pedigree should be.
Next week China and lets hope it's as good as this weeks.
I might mention only Haas listened to the fans with regards putting the driver and number on the halo. Some like Ferrari put adverts on theirs were most just played around with adding small fairings.
