It’s all being tested now, a part from here, another from there and everything was working properly, each time i found an error i report it and wait to be fixed then i retest and so on.

Yesterday i had a call from someone of the highest management asking me about the progress i achieved till now, and since i was named by them to handle such a project i felt a huge pressure on me after this phone call (exactly like the school kid going to an exam). I really hate this feeling.

I started preparing this list (the progress list) where actually i was working on it the first i started testing so it is kind of almost ready but still need some work, where i found more than 2,700 cases have been opened till now and i am still at the beginning, i knew it that even preparing the list wont be that easy.

It looks like i have to prepare thousands of cases to show the progress that i reached and beside that i have thousands of cases still to be created.

From the things i finished i can talk about:

  • The Card creation.
  • Embossing
  • Authorizations
  • Creation of additional cards (supplementary)
  • Tests on EOD (daily)
  • Tests on EOC (billing)

This was a small list briefing some of the test with the result “passed”, i won’t mention the “failed” and “passed-feature Req.” Maybe later, but for now i have to explain what is happening to the management.
