Hello everyone. I hope you all are doing good and enjoying great mental health. I am doing great. I am trying to find the crochet inspiration for last 2 3 days continuously and I was not able to find anything. Nothing seemed captivating and catchy. I even asked my friend that please find me something I can crochet. She shared 2 3 things that were pretty but to be honest they were not according to my mood. So in the morning when I woke up the first thing I did was to find an inspiration. I find this jellyfish tutorial which was not exiting for me but I told myself that I am not going to waste my time today. So I did my breakfast and after that the very first thing I did is crochet this jellyfish keychain.
At first I was not very exited but with time I realized how pretty this is and I made a right choice. The color combination is very very pretty. If I talk about the process it was close to that if octopus pattern with little difference. I made the upper head part with the off white yarn and base with pink yarn. I made both parts separately and then joined them with sc. I also added the cotton in the head part. Then i made the leppets with the same pink yarn. It followed the pattern of slst, 4dc,slst,sc. I repeated the same pattern till the end to get 10 leppets.
After that I made the tentacles. 3 white and 3 pink tentacles. Their pattern is also different the white ones follow the pattern of 31 chains and then sc,inc till the end. And pink ones only includes 32 chains ⛓️. After every step of the process I realized that my decision was very good and it was not waste of time. I always say that finding the i inspiration is difficult than actual process. But I always ends up making a good choice. For which I am very proud.
I attached the tentacles with the base. The pattern I was following says that to join the tentacles with the body use needle but i discovered that was not necessary. So I just made a knot and that was it. It is more secure and easy. I used the same method for the five tentacles. And the last but not least I added a keyring on the top to make it a keychain. I have made many things till now and shared them all with you guys and I realized that the mostly liked thing that I made is keychains. So I kept that thing in my mind while I was searching for ideas. This was all about the process. After the completion I grabbed my father's phone (again) and did a great photoshoot.
