Entry to #monomad Challenge
Sometimes I go out without a preconceived idea of the photos I want to take, and it turns out that where I least expect it, I find something that makes me stop and pull out my camera. That happened to me several weeks ago. I was with a friend who insisted we go out in the city. When we arrived at Independence Park in my city, we saw some kids practicing jumps on their skateboards. At first, I didn't pay much attention, but I realized they weren't doing too badly; they had skills acquired through practice, stumbles, and falls—the best teacher, without a doubt!
When they saw our cameras, they immediately approached us and competed for their turn to show off their skills. We had to keep an eye on them because sometimes they didn't even have time to focus 😁. Luckily, they were very receptive and adapted to our pace. When they saw the photos, they went crazy, happy to see some evidence of their sporting mastery.

A veces salgo a la calle sin una idea preconcebida de las fotos que quiero hacer y resulta que donde menos lo espero encuentro algo que hace que me detenga y desenfunde mi cámara. Eso me sucedió hace ya varias semanas. Iba con un amigo que me insistió para que saliéramos por la ciudad. Cuando llegamos al Parque de la Independencia de mi ciudad, vimos a unos muchachos practicando saltos con sus patinetas. En un primer momento no les presté mucha latención, pero pude percatarme que no lo hacían muy mal, tenían habilidades adquiridas a base de práctica, de tropiezos y caidas, el mejor maestro, sin dudas!
Cuando vieron nuestras cámaras enseguida se nos acercaron y se disputaban el turno para demostrar sus habilidades, había que estarlos controlando pues a veces no daban tiempo ni a enfocar 😁. Por suerte fueron muy receptivos y se aadaptaron a nuestro ritmo. Cuando vieron las fotos se volvieron como locos, contentos de que quedarsa alguna evidencia de su maestría deportiva.
