New Features

For some time now, I have been seeking a way to implement a path to continued growth for the user interface for communities. I decided to build a dashboard for my own community as a starting point. I have settled on atlaskit for the library to develop the dashboard. This has been a long and arduous process of porting from bootstrap to atlaskit

So far, these are the features implemented:

  • Use of atlaskit library
  • We-resist voting bot preferences
  • We resist community preferences
  • We-resist member directory
  • Steemconnect integration for authentication to the application.

Roadmap

Tools

There are a lot of goals for the future. I'd like to provide several reports and tools for

  • Curation
  • Bot tracking
  • Rewards management
  • Vote tracking
  • Mentions and Reply tracking
  • Friend graph to allow users to track who's seeing their content and who's able to see content via the friend graph.
  • Relationship management of followers
  • Tools for data-mining and analysis

Community

I want to provide more control over the community through this interface including

  • interaction with the discord channel
  • Bot management (including adding more bots managed per member)
  • Interaction with members
  • Tools for curation as a community

Security

  • Roles management will be added for trusted members of the community to prune and manage membership.

Search

  • Content discovery options by searching data-mined content and saved searches
