RC's are your action budget on Hive. Post, comment, vote - it all costs RCs. Your Hive presence depends on how much HP you have staked. Small account = small presence. I burned through mine faster than I expected just by being active in my first few days.
On Ethereum, low funds means you wait until you can afford gas. Clear limitation.
On Hive, RC depletion is invisible until you literally can't post or comment anymore. No warning.
The real onboarding task on Hive isn't learning the interface - it's getting enough stake to actually participate.
Either power up more HP or find a delegation.
