This post goes for 'Show me a photo (of a bird)' contest, round #75. Week's topic was 'Feather'.
Thats a strange thing -- you won't believe it, but there's a 70+ round going on, and so far the 'feathers' theme has not been proposed even once. Why so? I'm at a loss. Definitely there might be some mystery here :)
Anyway, when I see feathers I always want to take a picture of them! but I have few beautiful photos, because I managed to take a picture with a macro lens in good lighting and interesting surroundings only twice, alas.
And many thanks to the ducks, because they are the ones who lost / abandoned these wonderful little feathers, which show their fantastic nature and device so wonderfully under the gaze of a macro lens.
The ducks dropped their little feathers into the pond for me, and the willows dropped their boat leaves for me in the same pond. Photographing those narrow yellow, green, purple bangs was as tempting as the feathers, and I took quite a few shots too, but with far less interesting results.
