This post goes for 'Show me a photo (of a bird)' contest, round #122. Week's topic was 'Perching', and I should say this word was totally new to me! Pretty much of my photos match this prompt, because most often I manage to photograph birds sitting on a tree. And their barefoot legs clinging to branches always seem touchy to me - don’t know why!
Starlings were really my best friends for this post, cause... uhm,
...not that I photograph only starlings and no other birds perch ... but mostly it is the starlings that trustingly let me get close enough - and as a result, I get their legs squeezing a branch clearly visible (which is what I needed for this topic).
