I had a great evening walk across the Nevski avenue -- the central, parade street of St.Petersburg. I want to share the images I harvested on my Wednesday post, I hope I will have time to process them.

What I wanted to add. While shooting one of cafe display's (and sitting on my knees) I was asked by a little pack of teenage girls -- to show what I am getting, they were really intrested to see if my results are of any beauty. Then I showed them a few of the last shots and said: well, I am quite satisfied with the results, the nightly lighting changes pretty much, and adds pretty much to the usual image of the city, as you used to see it in normal conditions.. it actually a simple but magic transformation.

Probably they never looked at it (before) thru the DSLR point of view. Now I flatter myself with a hope that I have converted one of them to my faith, or maybe just sowed some seeds of doubt and quest.

This is my entry to Qurator's Photo Friday #102 hosted by qurator@qurator

Also I provide this for the Shadows Contest by @melinda010100 (actually, I am always inspired by this nice challenge not to pass by the shadows when I borrow camera with me, but to deal with them!)

PS. I am adding this as a little bonus... as a starting point for comparing human work done.
