Let me show you some more of these photo-friendly Coprinus (aka ink-cap shrooms).
Do you happen to have them around you?
Well, not right now of course!
They show up in late summer/autumn.
And they are edible, you know. Some folks say their taste is superior, than chmpignons!

All of them were shot right where I live, well, just 20 mins by cycling.
I must say, in autumn I gathered their spores and put them into soil in my yard. I did it twice, for sure! I am not holding my breath for results... but I'd be highly surprised in a good way if this year they will grow right at my hand's distance -- will make much more macro shoots. And probably will do a focus staking tricks on them this time.
