A pair of socks, or a pair of bottles ... imagine the adventures of a few friends ... the subject is endless! @nelinoeva offered us a great topic this week. I dug in my archives and found a lot of matching images, extremely hard to choose one image to apply. So... what can be done together as a pair? Look for yourself.

Пара носков прячущихся в неожиданном месте, или пара бутылок, сложившиеся на улице в живописную картину... приключения пары друзей... бесконечная тема! Я порылся в своем архиве и нашел много чего. Итак... что можно делать вдвоем? Смотрите сами. Я не удержался и публикую их все (но на конкурс конечно пойдет только одна).
Two starlings patrol the area for food / Можно добывать вместе еду.
Две вороны прочесывают местность с аналогичной целью. Вообще, вороны - умнейшие создания. Если следить за ними вооружившись биноклем, телевиком и вагоном времени, можно наткнуться на потрясающие сцены секретной птичьей жизни. Увы, не могу похвастаться своими фото, но один знакомый снимал такое... не увидишь - не поверишь.
Two crows are scavenging the area with a similar purpose. Generally speaking, crows are very, very intelligent creatures. If you follow them armed with binoculars, a telephoto camera and a wagon of free time, you may stumble upon stunning scenes of a secret bird life. Unfortunately, I cannot myself boast with my own pictures, but I have seen gorgeous photos my friend made.
Можно тянуть в разные стороны одного червяка (но такой сцены я пока не сфотографировал!) Можно отнимать друг у друга еду! (Тут могла бы быть фотография голубей... но я не включил ее, потому что их там гораздо больше, чем двое, хехе). Так много вещей, которые можно делать с едой.
Two can pull one worm in opposite directions (again, haven't photographed such a scene myself yet - no photo!) They can fight for food, or rob the food away from each other. (Here could fit a photo of pigeons I took a while ago, but I did not include it cause there are slightly more than two pigeons there, hehe). There are so many things to do with food.
They can take a bath together / Можно принимать совместную ванну...
...or have a peep-show, looking at other person's bathing procedures

Two ducks: you can go out and hang around introducing your girlfriend to the rest of the pack. / Можно выйти в общество и покрасоваться, представив свою подругу остальным членам стаи.
You can protect your girlfriend from a stranger ... with a big black camera ... breaking the perimeter too close! / Можно защищать свою подругу от незнакомца... с большой черной камерой... приблизившегося слишком близко к нашему периметру!
Two grebe ducks guard the nest with a clutch of eggs from visitors like me. In fact, while one duck sits on the clutch, the second gets food and vice versa. This is a team work!
Две чомги охраняют гнездо с кладкой яиц от таких посетителей, как я. На самом деле, пока одна утка сидит на кладке, вторая добывает еду и наоборот. Это командная работа!
I probably have posted this image before (at least I posted it at WeKu, for sure), but I simply cannot but add it here: an immaculate example of pigeons mating. I will not apply it for the contest, so I think it will not be a problem.
