sublime sunday explorations (dead leaves, chestnuts, fungi and stuff) - 20 macro foto
It's the weekend and the rainy cloudy weather has taken a step back (but not for long). Anyway, we were able to walk outside in the rain :) and saw some sun... about a few minutes a day. It was a nice family walk in the local park together with my babygirl (and also with a macro telephoto lens).
The green color is still preserved, but most of the trees are already painted yellow and red ... and some are already completely bare, without leaves - all the leaves have woven a soft autumn carpet covering the ground. I love to rustle leaves and inhale the smell of autumn smoldering.

Every year, autumn -- time for mushrooms chestnuts.
Some trees grow near schools, kindergartens, yards - it is no longer possible to find chestnuts there, only empty shells lie on the ground ... but some trees grow in secluded places - and here you can easily find handfuls of chestnuts.
I love to touch and feel this glossy chestnut surface in my hands, love to watch the whimsical stains and textures of their skin...
And their prickly rough shell resembles me deep sea mines. They are especially photo-friendly!
During this walk I happily encountered some nice mushrooms.
This is 'shaggy mane' -- well-spread autumn mushroom.
There are a lot of this specie around these days.
There was a huge carpet of dry dead leaves under the old lindens. Firstly I noticed this shaggy mane's white temple, and when I came closer, I found this huge family hiding under the leaves. Huge caps - diameter about 20 cm. I pick up one mushroom, to try identify it better. I think it is Tricholoma sp., but not sure about the certain name.
Whimsycal shapes! Those caps have such a cool surface, these tubercles remind me of a pizza crust.... a real Moon surface and Moon cheese!
Not far from the chestnut trees, near a little tree stump, I found a mature family of Pholiota squarrosa. Nice surrounding of dead leaves.
Bird winter stocks. Here I will watch for thrushes, fieldfare and waxwings (hope so).
Pigeons already prepare for a winter. See how a warm fur coat increases with the help of ruffling. Workout!

Plain leaves. Just an ordinary aspen leaves. Arent they nice?
