At first, I think they were mating, but my guess was totally wrong! It's a show of cannibalism. Did they just fight? It seems so. One dragonfly bites its opponent's head until it is cut off. It didn't stop but continued to chew the prey's body mercilessly, like eating a delicious sausage"
What are these slender skimmers up to? Oh my! Say it isn't so! But yes... they are attacking each other. That's the circle of life I suppose, right?

Yes I think we can all relate to this “season”. The time when warmer weather teases us, but yet, snow and colder nights prevail. Being stuck in the middle of winter and spring isn't always fun.
