"Just as I was planning to go outside and take photos, it suddenly started to rain, turning the day into a very gray one. So much so that I decided to stay home. I wanted to take some pictures from inside my apartment, capturing details that show the rain, like those images where you can see tiny raindrops. I also wanted to photograph some of my cats and my wife peeking out of the apartment window, enjoying the feeling of the rain."

"The corg and I put in about 3-5 miles of wilderness walking most days, and I have to say, I really do quite adore it. Especially right now with a new dusting of perfectly white powder snow almost daily. There's something restorative about walking in Nature, especially when that bit of nature is isolated and unspoiled by any sort of human activity. The silence is almost otherwordly."

"Normally, when I venture into the kitchen, it's with a savory recipe that my wife has taught me. I really enjoy her cooking and I always like to learn and see if I can do it too. But this time, I decided to take a chance on something sweet, a somewhat "unusual" dessert, since cassava is the star ingredient."

"I cooked squid that my husband bought. He really wanted Aceh-style squid with red sauce. He didn't want the squid to be dry at all, but rather in a broth. I used to make this dish often when my late father was alive; he really liked squid in broth, just like my husband requested. After several months of not enjoying squid, I finally granted my husband's request with this recipe."
