"Today I decided to get a little distracted from home affairs by handling some photos of sunflowers in black and white format. These sunflowers grew in my garden in the summer. A kind of little trip in monochrome colors."

"So I followed her advice and as soon as I was near Herculaneum I wanted to visit the remains of the ancient city of Herculaneum, which like the city of Pompeii in 79 B.C. was buried in ashes, and was practically destroyed, but fortunately over time excavations have been made and with all these finds the archaeological museum of Herculaneum has been created."

"As spectacular as the Pyramids are there is also another side to Giza. Giza has built up to the very edges of the plateau on which the Pyramids stand and it is kind of weird to see them poking up in the background when roaming the bustling streets shopping for supplies or just heading out for a coffee."
