It has been one week since the initial token launch and wanted to share a quick update with everyone.

The launch went way better than expected and from day one we saw pretty good sales, we are so happy to say that all the tokens that were listed on Steem-Engine by @qurator has been sold out! There was around 3000 set aside for sales and another 3000 to be earned from delegation. Since @qurator ran out of tokens to sell on Steem-Engine the only way of getting more will be from delegation to @qurator. Currently that is for every 100SP delegated to @qurator you will receive 0.02 Q Tokens per day.

We want to thank everyone who bought tokens and Q knows you will appreciate and enjoy the daily Steem payouts.

The current 90 day average of our curation is 22.655SP/day and we will pay out 50% of it daily to all token holders. That is around 11.327 Steem per day. This value will change as the curation curve changes. Qurator will try and update all the numbers every now and then to keep everyone up to date.

Round 2 will go live once our 90 day curation average reaches 30 steem per day. This might take some time, or perhaps not. We already saw some extra delegations which will mean that overall curation will go up a bit and who knows what will happen when HF21 finally arrives. Only time will tell, but as @qurator grows, so will our curation.

So our initial idea is to pay out a minimum of 0.001 steem/day per token held.

With 10 000 tokens currently in circulation and about 3000 of that still needs to be earned by delegators. That means only 7000 Tokens are currently getting payouts from @qurator.

I am so happy to share some examples now, let's work with 100 tokens just to keep things simple.

Currently, our payout average is 11.327 Steem/Day

Thus:

11.327^{Steem Payout}/10000^{Tokens in circulation} = 0.00113 x 100 = 0.113^STEEM/DAY

Since we won't see round two until our payout reaches 15 STEEM/DAY it means that your payouts will grow in time. No new tokens will go out until the minimum of 15 STEEM/DAY is here. So until then the maximum you can earn is:

14.999^{Steem Payout}/10000^{Tokens in circulation} = 0.001499 x 100 = 0.149^STEEM/DAY

That means the more tokens you have and the longer you hold them the more your payout will be over time. Early adopters will reap the benefits for getting in early and delegators will have an ever growing payout. Payouts in Steem and Q tokens.

So each time the holders will go through a high earning period until the next round of tokens is released. These rounds will be few and far apart since @qurator is growing it a steady pace.

With all that is being said, this is the idea on paper and we have no idea how our curation will be grown/change in the long run. Previous results show steady growth.

This week we want to let everyone know that Qurator Token balance can now be checked via a comment made by users who own Qurator Tokens.

Comment on any post with !q balance and receive a comment showing your current token balance. This feature is for those who do not log into Steem-Engine on a daily basis and just want a quick check of their balance.
