An Underpass

#WednesdayWalk is a challenge started by @tattoodjay, The idea is to get out for a short walk, and get some shots of what you can see within a short distance of your home office or wherever you start.

This is a newly opened underpass on my walk route.

This is the other side of it.

Before the underpass came into existence, walkers and joggers using this route - which is also a Park Connector had to do a slight detour, to cross the road to continue on the walk route. With the completion of the underpass it is easier for joggers and walkers now.

It is quite a big project - it being just next to a very wide canal. Nearing the end of the project, it was disrupted when the pandemic happened, bringing the project to a standstill for a while. Now that pressure of the pandemic has eased off a bit, work was resumed and they managed to finish the project. Jolly good.
