This song is very special to me, it's one of those that transports me to a place of significance, and to someone I love so dearly. It instantly makes my heart happy and my soul full of joy. That's the beauty of music, (and people) how it has the power to connect us in some shape or form! ;)

It's a song searching for hope in dark areas of an apartheid in South Africa, and that they (the powers of the day) would not go mindlessly into war and actually see what's further down the road, its a song searching for signs that common sense will guide them wisely. I almost can't believe I didn't realise this, though I was very young when myself and my mother would dance around the living room singing to this song! I find it incredibly ironic (there's that word again!) seeing as I now spend a great deal of my time in South Africa! If I only knew as a child where I would be today! Haha! I love the music, and as 'they say' Africa has a beat! Oh how very true that is! I LOVE it!! I shall be sure to share such music in future posts! :)
