RE: More Valuable Than Gold
I don't know what I would have done if I were in her shoes. She was brave to have returned it, considering their current financial situation.

RE: Chess Level 5 - caelum1infernum
It's Lichess.org, not Lichness. I noticed the typo error several times in the story. We had a friendly match and I don't want to take a video because I got burned so bad it should not be filmed 📹 Nah.

RE: WHEN HELP TURNS BITTER
Typical plot of Nollywood movies. Maid gets jealous of master's daughter, causes chaos. Ha-ha. I'm glad they took her back to the hometown where she belongs.

RE: If Not For The Confession
Not all politicians are greedy. We should learn not to categorise all of them as corrupt and selfish.

I think you need to learn openings. You also need to learn how to find checkmates. There were many missed opportunities.

RE: Conquering fear
The best way to overcome our fear is by facing it. She did that and it became past tense. The lesson here can be applied to several aspect of our lives.

RE: WHAT SHE NEVER SAID
It becomes easier to have empathy for others when we step into their shoes. I'm glad he eventually got to see that his mom was doing a lot even when it didn't seem like so at first.

RE: Back to The Classic Debate: Who's more important?
Scientists and researchers actually train people that become doctors, under the title of "teachers." Anybody can be a teacher. A doctor can teach other doctors too. "Teacher" is just

At the 1:21 mark, the best move would have been Rxd7 instead of Qxd7, leading to a checkmate via either Qc8 or Rd8. Too many wasted missed before that too.

Glad you enjoyed it. This story is a very personal one. Except that it wasn't with jollof rice.

RE: Through His Eyes, Through His Pain
You would never understand the depth of someone’s pain until you’ve walked that path yourself. I can totally relate to this. Personal experience. Losing a loved one is something that can't be explained

Those words he said to his mother, harsh, yes, but were the truth. I'm glad he got a job finally. Things would begin to change from there.

RE: Mouse Slip to Checkmate: A Casual 10+8 Match
Yes, I understand that it's not a bad move, it simply wasn't deliberate.. Looking back, I realised I played better, more deliberate games before this. I and my opponent must have been drunk 😂 Thanks.
