As many of you already know, we published our first proposal in our weekly post QC News #003 and, with your comments and suggestions, we have been adapting it for several weeks (QC News #004, QC News #005 and QC News #006) until we have our official plan.
Why is it “on Hive”?
QueerCoin is a cryptocurrency that is currently on 2 blockchains, BSC (Binance Smart Chain) and Hive, and as a project we are always looking for ways to reward people who support us.
Our QUEER holders on BSC have the possibility to put their coins in our staking pools and receive QUEER as a reward.
At Hive, we decided to implement a plan that is more in line with the needs of the users of this blockchain.
Official Plan
Our plan consists of 4 parts:
Part 1: Selling QUEER on Hive Engine
The profits we get from the sale of QUEER on Hive Engine will be used as follows:
- Hive Power: 25% of the profits will be used to increase the HP of the official account of the project (
@queercoin). This will help our community (Part 2, 3 & 4) as our votes will have a higher value.
- Investment: 25% of the profits will be used to: 1) invest in projects, apps, or ideas that will help both Hive and our community. 2) invest in the creation of the different swapping pools that QUEER needs.
- Payment to our delegators: 25% will be used for payment in HIVE to accounts that delegate Hive Power to our official account (
- Buy QUEER: The last 25% will be used to have a fund that buys QUEER on Hive Engine, especially when QUEER is priced less than or equal to $0.20 USD.
Part 2: Hive Power Delegation
We curate (vote) the posts, send QUEER and share the profits we receive from curation rewards among all accounts that delegate Hive Power (HP) to our official account (
The percentage of the upvote and the amount of HIVE and QUEER received by each account depend on the amount of HP that has been delegated to us.
We also publish every week:
a) The change we have had in our HP.
b) The amount of HIVE and QUEER we have sent to our delegators.
c) The change in our APR, which ranges from 4% (QC News #009) to 9% (QC News #015 ).
As we explained in the previous section (Part 1), 25% of the profits from the sale of QUEER on Hive Engine are going to be used to pay our delegators as we don't want to have to Power Down our Hive Power. But, if necessary, we will do it to meet the payments to our delegators.
Part 3: Reward system for QUEER holders
We curate (vote) the posts of our holders that meet the following conditions:
- Have a minimum of 25 QUEER in their Hive account.
- The posts have the tags “qc” or “queercoin”.
Keep in mind that the fact that they meet these conditions does not guarantee them a vote on their posts, since that would be against Hive's rules.
For that reason we have a team of curators who are in charge of checking the publications and thus follow the Hive rules and avoid the sale of votes, spam and plagiarism.
Part 4: Weekly Contest and QC Community
Several of our friends gave us the idea, and encouraged us (especially

Our Hive community is an extension to our Discord server, which means that it's a space where we want people to feel loved and accepted, and in that way, feel safe to be able to express themselves openly and be themselves.
For that reason we consider and treat our community as our family. Because a family supports and respects each other, tells the truth with kindness and helps each other grow.
The QC Community is a space where you can talk openly about any topic you want, as long as you comply with the basic rules of coexistence that we posted (QC Community: Introduction and Rules).
Weekly contest
We decided to create our weekly contest to help our community. The contest consists of writing a post of more than 200 words based on the weekly topic chosen by
Every Thursday 3 winners are chosen from among all the people who join the contest that week, and the results are published on Fridays in our weekly "QC News".

At the moment we have 2 types of prizes:
Ecency Points: which are provided to us by the Ecency team, and can be used to promote your posts.
QUEER: starting this week we will also give QUEER to the people who win the contest.

Queercoin en Hive
Como muchos/as de ustedes ya lo saben, publicamos nuestra primera propuesta en nuestro post semanal QC News #003 y, con sus comentarios y sugerencias, la fuimos adaptando durante varias semanas (QC News #004, QC News #005 y QC News #006) hasta llegar a tener nuestro plan oficial.
¿Por qué es “en Hive”?
QueerCoin es una criptomoneda que se encuentra actualmente en 2 blockchains, BSC (Binance Smart Chain) y Hive, y como proyecto siempre buscamos la forma de premiar a las personas que nos apoyan.
Nuestros holders de QUEER en BSC tienen la posibilidad de poner sus monedas en nuestras staking pools y reciben QUEER como recompensa.
En Hive, decidimos implementar un plan que sea más acorde a la necesidad de los usuarios de esta blockchain.
Plan Oficial
Nuestro plan consta de 4 partes:
Parte 1: Venta de QUEER en Hive Engine
Las ganancias que obtengamos de la venta de QUEER en Hive Engine serán utilizadas de la siguiente manera:
Hive Power: un 25% de las ganancias se las destinará para incrementar el HP de la cuenta oficial del proyecto (
Inversión: un 25% de las ganancias las destinaremos para: 1) invertir en proyectos, aplicaciones, o ideas que veamos que ayudan tanto a Hive como a nuestra comunidad. 2) invertir en la creación de las diferentes swapping pools que QUEER necesita.
Pago a nuestros delegadores/as: un 25% se utilizará para el pago en HIVE a las cuentas que deleguen Hive Power a nuestra cuenta oficial (
Compra de QUEER: el último 25% se utilizara para tener un fondo que compre QUEER en Hive Engine, especialmente cuando QUEER tenga un precio menor o igual a $0.20 USD.
Parte 2: Delegación de Hive Power
Nosotros curamos (votamos) las publicaciones, enviamos QUEER y repartimos las ganancias que recibimos por recompensas de curación entre todas las cuentas que delegan Hive Power (HP) a nuestra cuenta oficial (
El porcentaje del upvote y la cantidad de HIVE y QUEER recibido por cada cuenta dependen de la cantidad de HP que nos han delegado.
También publicamos todas las semanas:
a) El cambio que hemos tenido en nuestro HP.
b) La cantidad de HIVE y QUEER que hemos enviado a nuestros/as delegadores/as.
c) El cambio en nuestro TPA (APR), el cuál va del 4% (QC News #009) al 9% (QC News #015).
Como explicamos en la sección anterior (Parte 1), el 25% de las ganancias de la venta de QUEER en Hive Engine van a ser utilizadas para el pago a nuestros/as delegadores/as ya que no deseamos tener que “Power Down” nuestro Hive Power. Pero, de ser necesario, lo haremos para cumplir con los pagos a nuestros/as delegadores/as.
Parte 3: Sistema de recompensas para los/las holders de QUEER
Curamos (votamos) en las publicaciones de nuestros/as holders que cumplen con las siguientes condiciones:
- Poseen un mínimo de 25 QUEER en su cuenta de Hive.
- Sus publicaciones poseen las etiquetas “qc” o “queercoin”.
Ten en cuenta que el hecho de que cumplan con estas condiciones no les asegura un voto en sus publicaciones, puesto que eso iría en contra de las reglas de Hive.
Por esa razón poseemos un equipo de curadores que se encargan de chequear las publicaciones y así seguir las reglas de Hive y evitar la venta de votos, el spam y el plagio.

Nuestra comunidad en Hive es una extensión a nuestro servidor en Discord, es decir que es un espacio en el que queremos que las personas se sientan amadas y aceptadas y, de esa manera, se sientan seguras para poder expresarse abiertamente y ser ellas mismas.
Por esa razón nosotros consideramos y tratamos a nuestra comunidad como nuestra familia. Porque una familia se apoya, se respeta, se dice la verdad con amabilidad y se ayuda a crecer entre sí.
La Comunidad QC es un espacio en el cual pueden hablar abiertamente de cualquier tema que deseen, siempre y cuando se cumplan con las reglas básicas de convivencia que posteamos (Introducción y Reglas de la Comunidad QC).
Concurso semanal
Decidimos crear nuestro concurso semanal para ayudar a nuestra comunidad. El concurso consiste en escribir una publicación de más de 200 palabras, que trate sobre el tema semanal elegido por
Todos los jueves se eligen 3 ganadores/as de entre todas las personas que se unan al concurso en esa semana, y se publican los resultados los días viernes en nuestras noticias semanales “QC News”.

Puntos de Ecency: los cuales nos los proporciona el equipo de Ecency, y se los puede utilizar para promocionar tus publicaciones.
