I've seen a lot of Steemians post pictures of their snowy weather, and it made me want to share some too.
Because we live in the Deep South, we don't get a lot of snow. This is a picture form the snow we got on December 8th. I know it's not very impressive to those who see snow all the time, but it was one of the best snow's we've had in several years. We ended up getting about 6 inches, and I got the day off work.
I'm not a big fan of Winter, but snow is so mesmerizing to me. I think there are two times when the world feels almost perfect: in the dead of night and when the world is covered in white. This was definitely one of those times. It was so peaceful and serene.
With the exception of one, maybe two, more cold snaps, Winter seems to be over for us. I'm so happy to get back to warmer temperatures, but this was a great snow. I'm glad we got to experience it.
