Happy Valentine Battle Mages🌹
It's been a brutally fierce 2 Weeks of battling and grinding daily & end of season rewards. The announcement regarding New reward cards in chest is now Live and I am super excited to share with you what cards I pulled down this report. Honestly the cards all look so good, and useful too. I really dig the idea of pulling multiple copies of same card from 1 Chest plus my Legendary and Alchemy potions have been in good use, it's a WIN-WIN.
Upon us is the battle for Glory in the Splinterlands arena where the big brawls and tournaments are staged. I hope the battlefield has been showing you some Love
A uproarious crowd of thousands have gathered in the vast arena once more to witness what would undoubtedly be a fight of legends. Battle is about to begin and winners will all receive rare Splintershards and Golden crowns. I carried on and registered under Wild Gold Fray 11 , which allowed all monsters from different eras to compete and to honour the Dragonborne's prophecy of a united Gloridax made hundreds of years ago, all battles were kept fair, kill or be killed.
The awakening, it was time. As summoners mounted and set their tools on the summoners' stone, I and guildmates took our positions. Five [5] battles were arranged for me and I was not going to accept defeat.
✅YOU CAN NEVER GET IT WRONG WITH A REGENERATIVE RANGE MONSTER AND HEALER SPELL CASTER IN A CLOSE RANGE AND TARGET PRACTICE BATTLE. THAT'S A WINNING STRATEGY💯
In my first Brawl, it all started great. I went with the 🍃Earth Splinter and got matched with LOZIO71 OF THE EDSF CLAN who picked the 🍃Earth Splinter too, coming at me with the delectable summoner Enemy-Lyanna Natura.
📜The ruleset gave all gave all ranged attack monsters an upper hand to be used in any position, but, only monsters of 4-mana or less were allowed in the arena and all ranged and magic attack monsters got granted the snipe ability.
So I chose MYLOR CROWLING who gave all my monsters the Thorn ability. This will ensure that each time my enemies hit at me, they also get same damage back. Then Next I went with three monsters that had the Swift, Inspire, Heal and Opportunity ability , this I believed will secure me a win. My strategy was simple; A Tank Range monster who could regenerate his health [EARTH ELEMENTAL], An extra Speedy & Inspire Monster [BROWNIE] , 1 Healer and Spell caster [WOOD NYMPH] and the Opportunity Monster [SCREECHING VULTURE]. I didn't employ Gladiators in this battle because I had none that fitted into the little leagues ruleset. The Enemy came at me with the with brute force, battle lasted 5 rounds as my team cut them down mercilessly and effortlessly.

Next battle was called upon almost immediately which was to mark the beginning of my Nightmare. I then summoned the great ☠️DALLAN from the death splinter who gave all monsters the Crippling ability. I got matched with SNOWFEAR OF THE JUN CLAN who picked the 🔥Fire Splinter.
📜The ruleset was Up close and personal, implying only Melee monsters where allowed in the arena. Also, all Melee monsters granted the Sneak ability.
I was glad I had brutal melee monsters on my team, summoned the best on my team. LORD OF DARKNESS with the Stun and Shield, CURSED WINDEKU with the Thorns and Heal abilities.
If anything, I banked on these two monsters to deliver, and to make sure all went well. It was a challenging battle as enemy came with JACEK, the fire lord who boosted it's monsters with extra speed, Pin and scattershot. All enemy monsters were 4 times faster than me, I got destroyed before the battle even began, damn! brutal annihilation.
⛔️WHY COME TO AN EXPLOSIVE WEAPONARY RULESET WITH TWO BLAST MONSTERS? WASTED POSITIONS. IN A KEEP YOUR DISTANCE RULESET, IT'S COMMON SENSE TO EXPECT ALL MAGIC MONSTERS IN BATTLES, HENCE, A VOID AND AFFLICT WILL SUFFICE. UNLUCKY IF YOUR OPPONENT TAKES ADVANTAGE OF YOUR WEAK STRATEGY💔
My next battle was against a fierce death splinter summoner ENEMY-MIMOSA NIGHTSHADE. I felt terrified, my previous brawl left me shaking, so i went with the 🐉Dragon Splinter, summoner DELWYN DRAGONSCALE and got matched with RUS22-LAN OF THE SILVER-RU CLAN.
📜The ruleset granted all monsters the Enraged and Blast ability, and Melee monsters were not allowed on the battle field
I came with Dragon splinter backed by water splinter, probably the worst mistake. RUNEMANCER KYEGOLD DRAG0N and DJINN OSHANNUS who both should fiercely attack taunts and low mana monsters, one Tank healer[CRUSTACEAN KING] , a warrior who is skilled in magic and affliction [CAPTAINS GHOST], and the Speed and blast Monster [RULER OF THE SEAS]. Brutal 7 rounds of battle, watching myself get massacred on the battle field.
⛔️WHY COME TO A 'TIS BUT SCRATCHES' RULESET WITH A CRIPPLING SUMMONER? WASTED OPPORTUNITY. IN AN ALL WANDS OUT RULESET, IT'S COMMON SENSE TO EXPECT ALL MAGIC MONSTERS IN BATTLES, HENCE, A DEDUCTION FROM MAGIC AND HEALTH POINT WILL SUFFICE, THADDIUS BROOD IS THE SUMMONER FOR THE JOB. UNLUCKY IF YOUR OPPONENT BROODS💔
Next battle was called upon and I wanted to surrender. Then I recalled my Splinterlands motto no surrender, no retreat. kill or be killed. I wasn't so prepared but I took the stand and summoned the great ☠️DALLAN from the death splinter who gave all monsters the Crippling ability and got matched with CK-KIRA OF THE HODL MY DEC CLAN who also picked the ☠️Death Splinter.
📜The ruleset only allowed Magic monsters on the battlefield, and it was the rise of the commons. Also all monsters were granted the Crippling ability.
Isn't this what we call Deja'vu? I have repeated this mistake in the just ended brawl battle. Ghad what's wrong with me😥
I then deployed the CABALIST for his Giant killer, amplify and demoralize abilities in front, WITCH OF WARWICK the deadly for her Bloodlust and Life leech , infact went on with 3 Life leeches, DEATH ELEMENTAL for his Snipe and Silence and finally VENARI WAVESMITH a dispeller.
I banked on these monsters to secure me a win and It was another challenging battle as the enemy came with the wicked Enemy-Thaddius brood the summoner who is against magic. I absolutely got destroyed by enemy who used the my reduced magic and health against me.
✅IN BRAWLS, JUST PRAY TO HAVE BETTER AND MORE LEVELED UP CARDS THAN YOUR OPPONENT, EASY WINNER😂
My final battle was against an unfamiliar enemy in brawls. Seeing that I felt a little bit optimistic, and I went with TYRUS PALADIN from the 🌬Life Splinter, got matched with KYSAT OF THE UNREAL CLAN who also picked the 🌬Life Splinter.
📜The ruleset offered all monsters the Return fire and Amplify ability, while taking away from all monsters those with Sneak, Snipe and Opportunity ability.
I deployed URIEL THE PURIFIER who could regenerate his health, 1 Tank healer[DIVINE HEALER] and 1 double striker[PELACOR ARBALEST]. Brutal rounds of battle, it was so easy and unfair cause all monsters where pure Gold fighters while opponent came with novice monsters. It was a cheap battle but something i needed to calm me down for all the brutality i faced in previous battles. My gut feel went for Life as I understood those cards better too, glad it paid off. Heyy even if this opponent came with all leveled card, base on my hand, I would've won...fine then, let's say I got lucky😉
To be Fair, I did enjoy lining up my team for all the battles, even though it was hands down a defeat, I have learnt alot through this defeat. For this brawl, I earned just 6 points, got rewarded with 20.118 Splintershards and 1,900 Merits to purchase Gladius pack, a realm where Battles mages can own soulbound Gladiators.
My Fellow Guildmates also put in great effort in their battles, having a guildmate @edskymiguel-01 with a, 8/0 clean sweep, implying he destroyed all his enemies. The 🍕Pizza 1 stuffed crust made another bold display, though finishing third and earned 38 Golden crowns. I enjoy participating in brawls and seeing how well my guild is doing in terms of conquering. We are very competitive in this tier and work together to give it our all. Makes it all worth it in the end❤️
BUYING AND STAKING SPS CHALLENGE
Again this isn't huge news for high tier/whale players, but I challenged myself to grow on Splinterlands and last 2 week in my brawl report I shared with you how I hit 1,391.20 staked SPS🎉 also grinded and earned a total of 136.674 SPS for the whole of last season. I told myself that I could do better in new season and would be comparing each season's growth.

Yass Finally hit the 3,000+ staked SPS, also earned pretty good from Ranked, Brawl, DQ & EOS Chest, which brings me to an exact sum of 3217.663 Staked SPS🎉. I believe I've achieved an amazing milestone and performed way better than last season.
So the plan is simple, aside from the SPS I earn via Ranked battles, Brawls, the Daily chest, and the Season chest, I had adopted Mr. Alok's advice at an Ecency program held by Mr. Pravesh to purchase and stake 100 SPS every week.
😊With so much gratitude, I did earn nicely in the last two weeks from post payouts to buy even more SPS and get great cards to win ranked battles to earn more SPS.
I also get to earn awesome tokens like #SPT and #POSH sometimes on post which I can trade for SPS and immediately stake. I am super comfortable doing this every week, hopefully I am making the right decisions here, so fingers crossed🤞.

END OF SEASON [EOS] REWARD CHEST
I was able to grind 60 Gold chest last season. I got to Pull 2 Chaos legion pack, adding to the numbers, so happy. A Legendary Gold-foil Drybone Raider of the neutral splinter, a Legendary Iziar of the Life splinter, 23.67 more SPS, merits and regular awesome cards in multiple copies for leveling up all from the new reward cards.
I am still excited to pull those soul bound cards, Looking forward to more.
PURCHASED AND OPENED GLADIUS CASES
I used another 10,000 MERITS to purchase 5 gladius packs and threw them into mana well swirl, Behold;
I pulled 15 Gladiators, some with multiple copies to Level up. I was pleased because I pulled another EPIC GORTH of the fire splinter, and now I get a Gold foil level 3 HELMET KHARAFAX, whoosh! I also got a KRASH WANDERFORD and other amazing Bloodlust Gladiators in multiple copies for leveling up.
