This post is split into two parts. The first section is a summary of my @lmac experience, followed by my #lil contribution. "Feeding two lovely birds with a morsel of bread," as the saying goes😃

#1 MY LMAC EXPERIENCE

“Creativity takes courage” – Henri Matisse

My first entry to @lmac series #106 is still fresh in my mind. Other than the motivation to try, I had no idea what was expected. It wasn't perfect, but after seeing other excellent entries, I pushed myself even harder to give it my all. I also tried [and continue to try] to make good use of the articles and tutorials shared via the #lmac-school in the LMAC DISCORD SERVER.

After placing second in the Let's Make a Collage, Round 110 and scoring the highest in the past two rounds, I was welcomed to serve as a guest judge for the Art and Science, an LMAC Special - Teaming up with STEMsocial.
Although it still astounds me how a small girl like me can be a part of something so monumental, I must admit that I learned to persevere and give it my level best throughout the process, and whether or not I made it to the finalist round, it was still rewarding. One thing that has proven to be beneficial is that for each of my entries, I am inspired by a story and write a short text about it. When others can relate to or appreciate these stories, it makes me happy.

I'm grateful to all Lmacians for their support, and I owe a huge gratitude to the contest's host, @shaka , and his fantastic team. Being a juror is very difficult because you must scale between so many excellent entries, ensuring that no one is overlooked as long as the contest rules are followed. This has even overwhelmed me, and you can imagine how much these jurors have to do every time a contest is declared. They do so with joy and ensure the process is free and fair, That's just incredible💜

I want to submit a few different local African items with image transparency, ready to be used in collages/image creations, as part of this contribution. Except for the stop clock, all of these items are traditional wedding gifts that a bride brings to her matrimonial home. They are owned by Mum and date back as far as 34 years ago. I hope you enjoy them and find them useful in your @lmac contest submissions or any other use. All images are by me, @queenstarr, and were taken with my Samsung AS mobile camera, which I then edited using Photoshop CS5.
