This getaway was not planned for a month or so, but rather just a week. There were even trials along the way like we are not booked for the shipping lines thats supposed to travel in the evening, so we stayed in Ormoc for the night,
The next day(May 17,2022), we finally had the chance to get on board. Thanks to Ocean Jet for the ride and we arrived safely in Cebu at 10 am.
Atlast after two years, mine eyes behold the Cebu Phils Temple of (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) that is a very sacred place for us, where we make and keep sacred covenants to the Lord. We believe that this holy temple is a House of the Lord here on earth.
As everyone waited for our appointment at 1pm, we got the chance to eat and prepare.
The feelings I had there was unexplainable, plus being with my fiance added more the joy I am feeling inside.
After our Temple appointment, my fiance and I had the chance to roam around and visit the Temple of Leah which is known as the Taj Mahal of Cebu and one of the must visit attractions of the South. We just had a quick sight-seeing and photoshoot.
Next we had a long drive going to SM Seaside and get ourselves lost haha. Its been years since the last time I had gone to that huge Mall. Sadly we're not able to take photos there, but we definitely had a great time together.
