While all people have unique combinations of talents, the individual talents themselves are not always one-of-a-kind. I love to draw and paint, but at the same time my friends and siblings never good at holding the paint and brush. The uniqueness of a talent comes from the specific way it is expressed, which is shaped by a person's individual personality, experiences, and how they combine their various abilities. To highlight the unique ability of indiavidual, Sanskrit says ;
अश्वं शस्त्रं शास्त्रं वीणा वाणी नरश्च नारी च |
पुरुषविशेषं प्राप्य भवन्ति योग्या अयोग्याश्च ||
Ashvam shahstram shaastram veenaa vaanee narashcha naaree cha.
Purushavishesham praapya bhavanti yogyaa ayogyaashcha
Ashvam = a horse.
Shastram = a weapon.
Shaastram = a discipline of learning.
Veenaa = an ancient stringed musical instrument.
Vaanee = speech,
Narashcha = a man's.
Naari = a woman.
cha = and.
Purusha = person.
Vishesham = extraordinary.
Praapy = having attained,
Bhavanti = become.
Yogyaa = useful.
Ayogyashcha = ayogyah + cha.
Ayogya = useless.
i.e. A Horses, a weapons, a scriptures, lutes, an oratory, all these can display their full potential only when used by men and women with special abilities. These appear inappropriate when handled by other ordinary people.
It is not easy to handle a horse and so does not everyone is flexible in handling weapons. Everything requires a special talent and not everyone is blessed to have them. Looking at the speciality, we should always respect the talent.
