Today shlokas might be a bit difficult to read. But it gives a great insight of living being or our human life cycle. We all know, the hard truth that whosoever is born will die ultimately. But people tend to run away from this bitter truth. Herr is all importsnt lines that states a very deep insight of being immortal.
अमृतं चैव मृत्युश्च द्वयं देहे प्रतिष्ठितं|
मृत्युमापद्यते मोहात्सत्येनापद्यतेSमृतं||
Amrutam chaiva mrutyshcha dvyam dehe pratishthatam.
Mrutyumaapadyate mohaatsatyenaapadyatemrutam.

Amrutam = immortality.
Chaiva utyu = also
Mrutyushcha = mrutyuh + cha.
Mryuh = death.
Dvyam = both.
Dehe = in the body.
Pratishthitam = contained in, exist. Mrutyumaapadyatr = Mrutyum + aapadyate. Aapadyate = happens.
Mohaat + satyena + aapadyate + amrutam = Mohaatsatyenaapadyatemrutam.
Mohaat = through ignorance or confusion. Satyena = by truthfulness.
This lines teaches us that "Death and immortality both exist together in human body. Death happens due to ignorance and confusion, whereas immortality is achieved by leading a virtuous life adhering to truthfulness."
Birth and death, both are the eternal truths. Immortality also exists on this life as well and very fee people are their who achive immortality. Being immortal means the name and fame of a person remains slive even after his death if the spul follows a truthful and righteous lifestyle in the service of the mankind. By being a good soul and helping other a person can becomes renowned. Mother Teresa is one such great example whose name still been taken for all over world , for her selfless services to the society.
So if you want to be immortal then do such thing that the world will know you by your name.
