I came back quite late from church today and decided to go visit a close acquaintance of mine, this visit wasn’t a planned trip, it was an impromptu trip and also an escape plan, at least that was what my brother and I thought, not knowing there is a crazy adventure ahead of us…
It was quite a sunny afternoon, I got back from church and got my brother to tag along with me for this particular visitation, since the person in question is a close acquaintance of ours, she moved out of our compound weeks ago and we haven’t gone to grace her new house since the move, so today we decided to break all chains and decided to go visit her…
A quick lesson guys, never venture on a journey you know nothing of its route and distance because at the end of the day, you might end up spending 2 hours on a journey of nothing less than 30 minutes 😂, you gerrit?, if you don’t gerrit forgerrabout it, this was what we had to face today under the blazing sun…
The funniest part of this whole story is that she told us the new place is not really far from where we stay, but because my brother and i weren’t familiar with the road and place, we ended up spending two hours on a thirty minutes journey, a visit to say hi and head back home ended up becoming a visit we had to stay, eat lunch, and sleep before going back home in the late evening…
The initial plan was to just say hi and head back home since the place is near and also because I don’t like spending my Sundays outdoor because of my Korean dramas, but bruh what we experienced wasn’t funny at all, the hot sun foiled our plans totally 😂…
My brother and I didn’t really know the way and route but still decided to continue the journey when we could have gone back home to avoid this whole mess and stress, still yet we decided to depend on google map to get us there safe and sound, well enough, google map started well until we got to a point where google map got confused lol, after putting in our destination address, the map took us backwards, and this was when we decided to ditch the map, since it was not dependable again…
We decided to go with phone calls, goggle map took us to a desert like rail way track, the place was looking dry, the sun was hot, the only thing that gave us hope was the fact that there were other people in that same location, we called our close acquaintance and she told us we were on the right track…
Bruh, we had gone all over that particular place looking for a bike to convey us to the bus-stop for minutes under the hot sun, shortly afterwards, we found a bike and moved out, my brother almost cried today 😂, I was the one that forced him out 😂…
We were on the bike for about 10 minutes, going through hell as we kept on bouncing on limestones, few minutes later we got to the bus-stop and thought it has ended, not knowing the journey continues 😂…
We called her her and she gave us us her street name, after trying to use google map and it was directing us backwards, we ditched it and went local, we started asking around until we eventually found the so-called street…
We got there and was told to find the tallest building in that street, thinking it would be easy to find, we got there and saw more than 10 tall buildings with almost similar roofing colors, it was at this point my brother and decided to sit down, we made the last call and that was how we finally found our way to the house…
In summary, we got to the compound and started pulling off our clothes from the compound, we sat down and before we knew it, my brother slept off without lunch and I was too tired to sleep, so I kept on vibing to my playlists until it was dinner-lunch time…
In conclusion, I napped for a bit and after spending two hours in the blazing blazing sun and three hours with her, we then pulled out to head back home to head back home, and guess what? we got home in less than 30 minutes😂😂, crazy right😂😂…
