Let me first state that when someone dies,his or her soul dies too...The soul is just simply the actual life of a living, and abreathing creature... The soul actually leaving the body is the life itself leaving the body. ....
the Soul gone, life gone. ...
now many people have the soul actually confused with the human spirit...
Also we need to understand that each of us have different opinion concerning where the spirits go to when we die,the different opinions would be formed based on different religious views,,scientific views,biological views,traditional views,etc....here is my own opinion....

If not, then they would actually again become a living soul and also be either offered the great opportunity to actually undergo the major process of conversion or actually face their final judgment, all depending on whether the individual had been previously offered and also rejected the opportunities during their lifetime....

and also In the actual time between death and resurrection, they are simply dead. and they are not actually conscious, but they are just completely unaware, in an actual state whicj is likened to being asleep....
