Yes, @ericvancewalton, it is a war all right. And the older we get, the more challenging it becomes to "fight the good fight." Here is the best book I have personally read, on this topic:
- "Outlive," by Peter Attia MD
It was recommended by my doctor. Peter just lays it out, in a very straightforward manner, which I personally appreciate. He has characterized his approach along the lines of becoming a "centenarian decathlete," which doesn't mean you will actually live that long. It is just a mindset.
