Dear Hive people,
I've been learning digital painting for a few months. Therefore, again and again I just paint when I have a cool idea.
One evening I stood in front of the Frankfurt skyline on the banks of the Main and I wondered if there where such a beautyful view elsewhere, too. Maybe even on a distant planet. My imagination designed what I might never be able to paint.
I sat down at the computer and after a few hours I saw at least a vague idea of it on my screen.
I made it in Gimp. For the process video/gif I used Blenders video editor.
In my fantasy, I painted a city on Vega-5, a planet around the brightest star in the northern constellation of Lyra.
The sun rises behind the city. The city wakes up.
What do the people of this city do in a early morning? Certainly this is the stuff for more pictures.
