I wonder if it's actually true that, in every family there must be at least one child who his / her presence in the house makes the environment lively. I'm talking about someone who, if they are away for a day, you feel boredom and wish they could come back soon.

Fortunately, I happen to be the exact description I'm talking about.

Sarah Brownson, I'm otherwise called a weirdo at home and SC (Sarah cruise) in school. No doubt that I'm always up to nothing but causing everyone around me to laugh or smile for one reason or another.

I'm the last born of the family. And you know last born with benefit. I'm our very own family clown. When you hear of the only child at home that, no matter the offense committed, rarely gets flogged, that's me for sure. I'll tell about a scenario I could still remember vividly about the day that mom saw a love letter note in my school bag and to escape Mom's wrath and punishment I claimed my teacher had asked me to write a letter on love related topics. When mom told me to write on a plain paper so she compare the handwriting, I quickly forged my handwriting and made it blend with the handwriting on the letter note and that's how I managed to escape.

On other days when mom wants to punish me I'll take my dear Mother on an epic race around the whole house. And once I see that Mom is tired l would go meet her with a note boldly written "I'M SORRY MOMMY IT WON'T HAPPEN AGAIN". Then I'll draw a babydoll's cutie eyes emoji on it. Once Mom sees it, she'll just smile, then I'll run and hug her so tight. Then I'll say "Mom, please allow me to trouble you in peace or else I'll hug you so tight you won't be able to punish me". Try this crazy act of yours again Sarah. Then I'll show you that I'll punish you even if you decide to give me a handicap. "Mom replied jokingly". And that will be the end of the story.

Sometimes I used to wonder what magic or spell I had induced on Mom because the things I do. If anyone tries to do it, you'll just find yourself looking like a fool in front of Mom and everyone.
In school I was well known with my name tag SC. meaning "Sarah Cruise" and my weird walking steps making me look like a Tom Boy. I could recall I once heard my sister telling Mom that I could possibly be an alien because only an alien would work like a kangaroo under an ostrich. She even went on to explain my walking steps to Mom. She said "Mom, first she takes a step, as she tries to lift up the other leg she'll hop like something is above her head that is preventing her from hopping higher. And that would make them laugh together.

Weird right! That's just exactly how I used to walk. Mom is always complaining that no boy will want to associate with me because of my walking steps but that's a big fat lie.

I, in particular, seem to win the hearts of many students, especially the boys in our schools. If you are a boy and you can't joke around with your pickup lines, I won't even look at you twice not talking about being your friend. That was how I enticed two boys, Larry and Dan in my class, to compete amongst themselves on who had the best pickup line, so I could choose the best for my prom date. They both accepted the challenge.

It was finally the challenge day we had a free period. And I organized few of my classmates to join me, do the rating and they did. As we started, Larry went first. "If you were a fruit Sarah. Then you would have been a fine apple". I just sat there and smiled sheepishly, but then Dan dropped his lines. Hi Sarah your always looking so pretty but I think you must be lacking some vitamins. He winked at me and tapped on his chest. "Jeez he said vitamin me" and everyone started laughing. But then Larry dropped another line. "You must be Google because you're everything have searched for". And they went on and on. Then finally decided a winner and guess who I picked? Larry, of course.

Indeed my sense of slapstick made me popular because once we had a program in school. And they were looking for someone to give light to the show for entertainment and my name was first on the list. I went on stage, cracked a lot of jokes and funny stories, then crowded it up by mimicking some of my teachers and this part made them laugh out so loud. That's because I acted in a way they would be flattered by my moves.

I think having a good sense of humor is a rare potential. Not everyone is good at it.
