I agree completely. Why can’t they politicize 30 hour work weeks with 40 hour pay and employer paid benefits or benefits paid based on either tenure or bi-annual review of both peers and management (with production, accomplishments and team building soft skills) along with an employees willingness to complete different areas of personal self growth- like a wellness blueprint but more homeopathic and less medicinal based.
The employer could then be reimbursed what would normally be the employees share of cost because it’s putting less of a strain on the healthcare system overall.
[They] would never go for that kind of thing because it means less money for big Pharma.
