I agree that there are a lot of diseases that are scarier than COVID19. Many of plagues of old are becoming bacterial resistant. Who knows what microbiologists are doing in their lab. I worked at a lab that carried samples of deadly diseases for research.

I was not impressed by their security. Their primary security log at the time was an excel spreadsheet.

Of course the politicization of disease is as scary as the diseases themselves.
