What is your first thought when somebody offers you a free gift?
I personally think that most people would reply "where's the catch?"
I recently published a post about a negative experience I had in fiverr. I wanted to share something that happened to me after years of being a fiver top seller. I am currently in "vacation mode" and I may not return. So definitely it was not my intention to promote my gigs that drove me to offer something for free here.
I am still inexperienced and I don't expect to get any monetary benefit from my posts while I become acquainted with this community. I really appreciate feedback and I am grateful when I get good advice from any member.
I realize that to get exposure you need to have many followers and I've learned that the category you choose will determine how many eyes will see what you post. This is not twitter, where the lifetime of your tweet can be in the milliseconds range, but I noticed that the most active categories new posts listings move incredible fast stacking posts on top of yours until it disappears.
My intention now is to try to test a different category (I used fiverr, but I only got one request for my free gift from a previous post). Anyway, if you are reading this, thank you.
