Is there anyone in the world who wants to face misery, discomfort and feel unhappy??
Everyone on the earth wants to be happy. This is what every human being is looking for.

According to the very first philosophers Roman and Greeks, happiness is the chief goal of life. But their definition of happiness was quite different from what we perceive now as days. For them, happiness was not just the emotional state of life, but a life lived in harmony with our own nature, including sufferings and discomfort.

How do we feel happy these days?

Feeling comfortable and good every time makes people happy these days. But this happiness does not stay for longer and becomes comparative when people start seeing other people living a better and comfortable life. Then the same life becomes the cause of misery. People envious of others because others have more valuable assets
Do you call this happiness????, which depends on the contentment and possessions of the other people around?

How do we want to achieve happiness?

Many of people around us( including ourselves as well) fear to take tough tasks and challenges. They afraid of seeing themselves in a difficult condition of working hard and in an uncomfortable situation. So, we deny to take that task or try to escape it somehow. So, is this the way we should feel happy?
How many times we can escape these situations. Do anyone feel accomplished or fulfilled if that person does not take any challenging task. Does feeling comfortable is the only way of happiness.?

And I am definitely sure, most of the things we do to achieve happiness it not to feel happiness from inside but to show our happiness to the outer world and this drags us when we don't get much to showcase to the outer world of ours.

What is being fulfilled?

Being fulfilled is the actual happiness we feel from inside ourselves. There are many things we want to achieve and showcase it to the outer world and when someone with more caliber comes with better idea or approach, we start to feel misery. This is not fulfillment and happiness because we started comparing and felt misery. And fulfillment not always comes from achieving big tasks. Most of the time, I feel fulfilled when I plan my day with the list of tasks and at the end of the day, I achieve it. No comparison with others. The next or next week, I set a harder target and achieve more and feel fulfilled again.
Not always achieving tasks is an easy job, many times, people spend extra hours, energy, mind power, reset priorities and keep their comfort on the stake. But, when they achieved those tasks, they feel good and happy. Its not discomfort to them, instead it makes them feel fulfilled.

These are very small things which give us completeness from inside and we feel the true happiness.

How can a person get to the path of fulfillment?

At the same time, it's one of the simplest and toughest questions. I read many articles about fulfillment and how can we manage to work towards the same. These are few simple steps and ideas I could come up with:

Feel your inner self and start accepting yourself:

Don't compare with others, try to feel your inner self. How will feel our inner self?: Explore yourself and different things around you. On doing this, you will start realizing things which give you real happiness and makes you fulfilled when you pursue those.
There will be times when you can't achieve what you looked for. As human beings, we can not be running at 100% efficiency all the time. So, start accepting yourself as you are, and try to improve things over the time.

Avoid the traps

Keep yourself away from the traps like getting something materialistic makes a person fulfilled. If that happens, you are trapped because when someone else comes with better possessions, you will start feeling misery again.
There are many aspects to life, don't stick to one. It might keep you away from the real fulfillment.

Accept all the feelings:

As per Roman and Greeks philosophers the chief goal of happiness is not only about the good times, but also to live a life lived in harmony with our own nature, including sufferings and discomfort. Our life is like a bumpy ride with different feeling and incident happens throughout. Never escape from these, otherwise, these will run after, so, accept all feelings as is and take steps to achieve what you are looking for.

Define a purpose:

Set a purpose of your life.
Split it into small goals.
Achieve one at a time and feel the real happiness and fulfillment.
