This morning, I woke up around 6 AM and took a quiet walk. The streets were still, with only a few motorcycles and cars passing by. It was chilly, and I stopped at a street vendor selling banana cakes and rice wrapped in banana leaves for breakfast.

After eating at home, I dressed in a shirt and black trousers, ready for my work as a tour guide. At 8 AM, the driver arrived punctually, and we set off to Ubud in a large bus.

Upon arriving at the hotel around 9:30, our clients were already waiting. They were impressed by the spacious bus we had brought for them, despite there only being four passengers. We joked about playing volleyball or basketball on the bus.

Our journey continued to Hotel Samabe in Nusa Dua, taking about 2 hours due to various roads and traffic jams. Eventually, we crossed a high bridge, saving considerable time and arriving at the hotel around noon. The hotel staff assisted us and our clients with their luggage. During the early check-in process, my clients were pleasantly surprised with a refreshing welcome drink.

After bidding farewell to my clients, I headed back home to Denpasar. Despite attempting to sleep there, I found myself unable to rest. Eventually, I decided it was time to proceed with my plan to return home to Jembrana.

Living alone, I make the three-hour trip to Jembrana every two weeks to visit my family. Today, seeing my family filled me with joy.

Today is Pagerwesi Day, a significant Hindu Balinese holiday symbolizing mental fortification against evil forces through rituals and prayers. Although I couldn't celebrate with my family due to work commitments, I deeply value the cultural importance of the day.

Thus ended my day, returning home at night to my beloved family.
