Hello lovely people.
This place seems to be something completely different. I have been introduced by my kind friend and fellow musician @steevc.

I first met Steve in my teenage years when we both had the same guitar teacher and attended a group lesson on Saturday mornings. In those days I played guitar a lot and also flute and piano.
I ended up going to Colchester do a music degree with classical guitar as my first instrument, piano as my second and singing as a sideline. Then I did a postgrad year in London where I underwent a baptism of fire, doing my teaching practice with kids aged 11 to 18, in very challenging schools. I went on to teach younger kids in the home counties.
Since then I've learned to play drumkit, a bit of bass, ukulele and tinwhistle.
I was a music and general science teacher for 26 years, before giving that up to run adult pop choirs full time. These days I write choir arrangements and play in our little band, swing 42.
I also do some recordings at home and hope to post some of those here soon.
