The feeling of being accepted. But , not just being accepted...being accepted by the siblings and most importantly, the parents of her husband.
In Nigeria and Africa, it's a very important right of passage and a very crucial ingredient to the future of the union of the couple. For, if their happiness is hinged on a couple of things, this is one of them.
And what could be more beautiful than the eldest person from the family (Olori-Ebi) saying a prayer for you and accepting you into the fold of the family with open arms.
So...all them "Get married in Vegas" don't apply to us here...We do things the traditional way...the fruitful way..the ways best in the sight of our creator. _
