"I could say that there is no bad day to drink coffee. What's bad is going a day without coffee."

—Phrase of my authorship.—

“Share a weekend café/coffee shop moment from a past weekend or (preferably) from this weekend and explain the event and place, what you had there and why. Remember, you must use your own photos.”

Today I left home around 10:30 to run some work and personal errands. The day dawned cloudy, so I thought several times before getting out of bed, but I had to get out.

My week has been a pretty satisfying and productive week. I've been able to get some new sewing work done and that has me motivated. Also, I have been given a very nice lace fabric that I have been wanting to have for a long time. With this one I want to make an outfit that I will surely show you later.

To end my week on a high note, I wanted to treat myself to some time alone with my beloved coffee. For me, coffee is the break that comes just in time 💫

So there I was, on my way to the center of the town where I live, having almost only one thing on my mind: how I would order my coffee and with what sweet I would accompany it.

After finishing my errands, I went to the coffee shop, asked the prices, looked a bit at the sweets they had for today and ordered.

I wanted to order a guava and cheese roll that they sell at that place and it is delicious. This one is filled with guava jam and Venezuelan white cheese. The mixture of the sweetness of the marmalade and the saltiness of the cheese is... from another planet. (Yes, I enjoy eating 😂) But since there wasn't any, I bought this simple sweet roll with some sugar on top. Here we call it piñita because of its shape on the top.

As for coffee, they sell three types: black coffee, brown (more coffee than milk) and with milk (more milk than coffee). Of course, I ordered coffee with milk because it is my favorite. I like that it doesn't have so much sugar so it combines perfectly with the muffin.

Although the cafeteria is small, I like the ambiance of it. The good service and its wooden furniture and benches make this place an ideal place to share as a couple or with friends. Besides, I liked the color of the cup where they served my coffee. That color seems to me the most minimalist.

Another thing I liked about this place is that it is not expensive. They sell a pack of 10 rolls for 0.7 $ and the coffee costs 0.4 $. All in all, I spent about $1.1 for a time of total enjoyment to taste. Wonderful, isn't it?

I hope to repeat it soon, but now with my love 💜
